Ronald Brill (Germany)

Ronald Brill

Ronald Brill's first encounter with OS/2 dates back to 1990. Over the following years, he mostly developed client/server applications with Smalltalk, focussing on communication with IBM hosts and employing DB2 on OS/2 servers. For over 10 years now he has been designing and developing web applications and frameworks with Java. OS/2 usage is restricted to his home PC these days.

In the meantime Ronald has acquired quite a collection of projects that he supports. This includes NewView, which he has been maintaining since the end of 2006, and adjustments of several Java applications for OS/2 (ProjectX, SmartSVN, SmartCVS, JRipper, etc.) as well. His current focus is on testing the OpenWatcom project's new IPF compiler (wipfc) and updating Lucide.
